Lion and mouse moral story in english with pictures

Lion And Mouse

In the story, a mighty lion was sleeping in the jungle when a tiny mouse accidentally ran over his nose. The lion woke up in a fury and grabbed the mouse with his paws, ready to eat him. But the mouse pleaded with the lion, saying, "Please spare me, O mighty lion. I may be small, but I promise to repay your kindness one day."

The lion was amused by the mouse's words but decided to spare his life. Later, the lion got caught in a hunter's trap, and despite his mighty strength, he couldn't free himself. The mouse, who happened to be passing by, heard the lion's roars and came to his rescue. The mouse gnawed at the ropes with his tiny teeth until the lion was free.

The lion was amazed and grateful to the mouse, who had saved his life despite his small size. The lion learned a valuable lesson that day: even the smallest creatures can be of great help if we treat them kindly.

moral  story

The moral of the story is clear: kindness and compassion can go a long way. We should always treat others with respect and dignity, regardless of their status or size. In the case of the lion and the mouse, the lion could have easily killed the mouse, but he chose to spare his life. That one act of kindness was enough to earn the mouse's loyalty and ultimately save the lion's life.

The story also teaches us not to underestimate the power of someone who may appear small or insignificant. The mouse was able to save the lion's life, despite being much smaller and weaker than the lion. We should never assume that someone is not important or valuable simply because of their size or appearance.
